Rupi Kaur, the incredible author of the acclaimed book of poetry, Milk and Honey, is a spoken word performer and poet. As she recounts, “Milk and Honey is a collection of poetry about survival… it is about the experience of violence, abuse, love, loss, and femininity.”
Any girl can relate to feeling alone, getting her heart broken, questioning her self worth, and feeling small. However, the book ends on the notion that life and love are still beautiful entities that we should all ultimately cherish and fight for.
