I Am Gia has amassed a huge following from celebrities like Bella Hadid and Kaia Gerber, to tons of Instagram street style accounts. The pieces are affordable and their sheer shirts and jackets are perfect for layering, so they easily assimilate into any style.
The I.Am.Gia website also has a unique “journal” feature, that interviews models and girls who represent the label and have unique style. It also includes mood boards created by the designer and images of ‘muses’ of the moment, to give you more style inspiration! Danielle Guizio is another popular brand that is featured on almost every fashion “it-girl’s” Instagram account. Released only earlier this month, the brand has already picked up tons of attention through the their use of social media influencers and models in their campaigns. Because this collection is an offshoot of the LF store, many regular LF customers are aware of the brand, but it is perfect for all girls who have a sporty, streetstyle aesthetic.
FILA
A brand that isn’t considered “new” on the fashion scene, FILA is slowly reinventing itself in their new street style friendly looks.Their chunky white sneakers are a rising hit among streetwear Instagram account,s and are majorly contributing to the renewal of the brand. Major retailers like Urban Outfitters and ASOS, who have both recently starting selling FILA, has also been a big reason why we have been seeing the FILA brand so much lately. Their logo, seen on almost all of their shirts, sweats and shoes, perfectly embodies a sporty, trendy and retro aesthetic that is perfect for streetwear.
Kappa
As an up and coming brand, Kappa began as sportswear for Italian soccer teams which later transitioned into a fashion brand for all. Their well known logo of a silhouetted man and woman sitting back to back is now associated with popular sportswear and is seen most commonly on their track suits. This logo is now subconsciously correlated with trendy streetwear that everyone wants in their closet, due to a heavy Instagram presence of it through street style bloggers. Their brand has continued to find itself fitting well into the streetwear niche, where their origins as a sports brand for teams has blended easily with the athleisure and streetwear trends of today.
